Radionuclide Availability
Eckert & Ziegler provides a wide range of different quality radioisotopes for your research, development and clinic including clinical trials and routine. Our product portfolio consists of the radiopharmaceuticals GalliaPharm® and Yttriga and a wide range of radiochemicals such as Lutetium-177 (n.c.a.). Furthermore, we offer additional isotopes and services, which are available upon request.
The range of available isotopes for different purposes is continuously extended.
Detail information
Background
Eckert & Ziegler has a long history in the production of radionuclides for different applications. Our Braunschweig site is dating back more than 100 years and with Buchler & Co, has been one of the cradles for commercial production of radioisotopes in Germany and worldwide. Around the turn of the century it has been one of the first providers of Radium-226, with customers such as Marie Curie.
Radionuclides and Services
Apart from our well-known Gallium-68 generators GalliaPharm® and IGG100, the [90Y]Yttrium Chloride Solution Yttriga and Lutetium-177 (n.c.a.), we offer further radionuclides in different qualities, that are available upon request.
Please take a look at the following table to find out more about our portfolio and the options.
Apart from the radioisotopes stated above, Yttrium-86 and Iodine-125 have been provided for PET applications in the past.
DAkkS laboratory
Eckert & Ziegler operates a DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH) laboratory in Braunschweig for the manufacturing of calibration standards for all radionuclides.
Dosimetry
Dose calculations for a wide range of isotopes can be performed, e.g. for the determination of target tissue dose when working with therapeutic gamma or beta emitting sources. In this context the MCNPX program (Monte Carlo N-Particle eXtended), particularly suitable for β-radiation, can be used.
Further projects with other isotopes are possible and have been realized in collaborations in the past. For more information, please get in touch via the contact form below.
